DESCRIPTION: Zenith, Le Locle, Switzerland, a minute repeating gold pocket watch, 20 jewels, stem wind and set, cotes de Geneve decorated nickel bar movement with lever escapement in a 14 karat, yellow gold, hinged back and bezel, open face case and Arabic numeral, single sunk gilt dial, gold Louis XV style hands, serial #125134, 47mm, 71.6g TW, c1920.
CONDITION: CASE: Dings and small dents, band; Fine scratches on outer surface of case; Very fine scratches on inner surface of case; Band with marring and abrasion, 1:00; Crown with wear; Precious metal content marked. DIAL: Fine scratches and scuffs; Minor losses to enamel infill; Signature faded. HANDS: Minor bends. MOVEMENT PLATES: Minor scratches on plate; Losses to plating; Click with oxidation; Hour hammer with minor rust spots; Winding wheels with minor scratches; Hour gong with a few spots of rust. MOVEMENT FUNCTION: Running order (winds, sets and ticks). COMPLICATION FUNCTION: Functions properly, long minutes nearly overlap last quarter, needs service and adjustment.
